Yest, I started to take cases (4). It really stress me up. This is the 1st time I am taking after my last PRCP posting. Somemore, I got stressed up by the uniform that I am wearing now.
There are lots of things to follow up during the shift. I just couldnt get all the things done immediately. I was quite slow yesterday. I was wondering how would I be when I need to take up to 12 cases. Will I be drowned or can I survive? Sounds like FEAR FACTOR. ha... ha....
Luckily my preceptor was very kind to guide us along. If not, dunno wad time I 'll reach home yest.
Now got quite a no. of courses to attend due to the converting of renal ward system. Happy though, but stressed up too.
Nursing is really a tough job. At such a young age, U need to be responsible of somebody's life. Its not that u are GOD but u just carry that responsibility. Lots of ppl think that nurses earn lots of money. But behind all this, no one knows that how hard he or she needs to work. Especially when u have 3 rotating shifts to do. From afternoon shift to morning shift of the next day, U can hardly sleep for tt few hours. No matter wad, u have to be fresh and alert enough for the next day to start ur job. U cant afford to be slacking and not paying enough attention to ur patient. What ever mistake or carelessness that u make, will have an impact on their lives. Sounds scary hor..... I am not trying to regret or wad. Just trying to voice out wad i think.
No one really understand all this.
As wad it quoted in chinese " we all will be angels"
