Today, not that busy, but I finished everything @ 4 plus. I received 1 case from ICU. This staff nr, rude in some way.
She asked me whether its a corner bed. Ya, 58 its corner bed according to my understanding of corner. She supposed to transfer the pt at 11 plus. In the end, she only transfer the pt at 1 pm and came to make a big fuss cos its not a corner bed according to her.
When we asked her why did she demanded a real corner bed, she said bcos pt is on contact precaution. I told her, our whole ward is on contact precaution. After hearing that, she somehow cooled down. I am surprised to see a chest tube on the pt. She only passed to me pt is on trache and on dialysis. Nothing else!!!! Chest tube is so impt and yet she dint pass to me.
I dint scold her for that. She wrote on the report tt duoderm dressing was intact. But wad i discovered is a dried up duoderm and she took it out in front of me.
Report done so nicely, but that is not the actual fact. Believe it or not, she is an ICU trained staff and tis is her standard. She passed report over to me in a mess. She was blaming her sister, cos sister rushing her to send the case down.
She sounded as if she is a senior staff, and so yaya papaya.
I didnt discover 1 impt thing until my SAN reminded me of the green inner tube. I checked thru and search for it. I cant find it.
I called p the staff. She said its all in the basin tt she brought together with the pt. I told her tt i have searched thru and cant find it. Then she told me that she is not there when they changed the whole trache tube. I confirming with her is the whole set came with the green tube. she replied that all shld be in the box.
I said dun have, she then said, what u want m,e to do then?
As a ICU staff u shldnt have done tis. This is not a standard of ICU staff.
she asked me to open up new set, if the DR wanna wind off the trache tube.
CANNOT DO TIS MAN!!!
After 10 mins, she called up saying that she found the tube. Earlier on she was fighting with me, claiming that all stuff has been sent up to our ward.
and she asked me, did i called her just asking for the green tube?

I went to harbour front today to meet up with my poly mates.....
that was a rare opportunity to gather 10 of us there. although idnt get to join them at sentosa, but had real fun during our dinner time at breeks.
Jennifer is still like her usual pattern. With her around we had so much things to laugh abt.
David, cut his hair... almost botak. maybe stress due to work or maybe sad tt Fadzly is goin into the jungle... Yani quite quiet. Not her usual pattern le....
Fadzly still the same as before. goin into jungle on monday.
Suyun become skinnier..... but prettier wor...
Cecelia went to sunten herself. she was so red and got natural blushes on her cheeks.
Jackie still the same as before. Kena bullied by IMH staff plus sister. Dunno whether is he somehow affected by the pt. hahaha...
Grace is still like one sotong and cant eat hot stuff. she was the last one to settle her order for the food cos most of the food got black pepper....
everyone slims down. Is it due to stress or............
hopefully, next time we can get more ppl to come out together. tt will be much more fun...
